Throughout the last several months the members of the Jackson-Milton NHS chapter donated their time and effort into bettering the community. They participated in several activities to spread cheer and give back to those in need during the holiday season. On November 18th 2025 the group went to First Federated Church and helped to unload and organize canned food products. One the 28th of November they went to United Way and worked with other groups in the community to pack dried food bags for those dealing with food scarcity. It was a massive community service project and gave students the opportunity to work with new people and take on leadership roles within the activity. On December 9th 2025, the members went to Antonine Village to give homemade stockings to the patients. They spent time with elderly patients who had various ailments and memory issues. On December 16th 2025 they returned to First Federated Church and once again organized and unloaded food. It was a wonderful experience and a great way for the chapter to utilize their time and resources to benefit those in need. These activities allowed the Jackson Milton National Honors Society to gain service hours and do projects that not only helped people in their community but countless others beyond the Jackson-Milton area.
