Cheer tryouts are super important in the JMHS cheer community because there is a process students/coaches go through to get onto the cheer team. They manage practices and constant review to help them earn a score to add onto the tryout. There were two practices this year in 2026 that were on May 19, 2026 and May 22, 2026 and tryouts were on May 23, 2026. High school cheer tryouts take lots of focus to learn dances, cheers, and chants to perform in the tryout. You are in a group of three girls and the judges are sitting watch you at the judge table and you try out on the mats they supply for you.
