The Jackson Milton Blood Drive was held in the main JMHS gymnasium on December 10, 2025. The Blood Drive was run by the American Red Cross organization. The event was organized by Mrs. Natalie Schneeman. Twenty-five people attended this event and donated blood. If individuals decided to donate blood they would get a fifteen dollar amazon gift card reward. All high school student council members worked this event. The blood drive is held three times a school year. The blood drive helps those who are in need of blood. Mrs. Schneeman states, “We talk to the people while they are on the table donating blood. We ask about their day and how they are feeling and if they would like any water or juice while they are donating. Once they are done we walk them over to the snack table and mingle with them while they wait 15 minutes and eat their snacks.”
Another quote from the President of student council Katie Byers she says, “I was so happy to help my community and earn service hours!”
Then on the other side of things we talk to a student who donated blood Ethan Sokol. He states, “ It was a great experience and the student council did a great job managing the event.”
Lastly from another blood donor Charlie Saunders she says, “The whole event was very organized and I had a lot of student council members talking to me while I was donating blood. Overall a great experience!”
