Volleyball team bumps, sets, and spikes their way to ITCL Champion status

The Lady Jays volleyball team has had a successful season. The Varsity team finished the regular season with a record of 10-12. They finished 6-2 in the Inter-Tri County League. Tournament action begins the week of October 19th. The lady jays were seeded 7th out of 13 teams. They will play in the sectional finals vs Southern local on Wednesday, October 21st at 5:30 pm at Columbiana High School. The winner advances to the district semi-finals to be played on Tuesday, October 27th at 5:30 pm again at Columbiana high school.

The Junior Varsity team finished the regular season with an overall record of 12-7. They were league champions and finished 8-0 in the Inter-Tri County League.

On Tuesday, October 13 the Jays held a volleyball team appreciation night that honored all the team members. In return, each team member gave a rose to a special person in their life that supported them during the season.
