The Jackson-Milton Cross Country team has been through various trials this year after losing their coach and having to find a new one this season. The team’s coach this season is Kayla Malmfeldt, she ran 5 years of cross country and is a graduate of Jackson-Milton High School.

The team ran at the Boardman Spartan Invitational and they had Michealina Terranova finish in the top 15 out of 241 runners. The boys team placed 25th overall while the girls got 23rd overall at the Invitational meet. The Boys team had 3 runners place in the top half of all of the runners.

The team had a race at Lordstown High school on Saturday September 26th. They also will be running at Malone and the Mahoning County Invitational. This is the first year that the cross country team has had a home meet in the school’s history.
