The Jackson-Milton girls Varsity softball team has an overall record of 10-7 and unfortunately did not get to play their last game of the season. During Mia Greco’s time playing she managed to hit four Homeruns and earlier during the season.  Mia stated, “You should’ve seen my batting average sophomore year.” Mia Greco was not the only one to hit a Homerun this year,  Paige Grope almost had a full cycle just needing a triple!

The Jackson Milton Varsity Softball pitchers the team helped the team get quite far, Junior Macayle Thornhill and Freshman Brena McBeth. These two girls gave it their all with hard work and dedication. Macayle Thornhill pitching high fifties low sixties and Brena McBeth also pitching in that zone.

The Junior Varsity Softball team only had one full game against Crestview with Cora Pettry pitching and Ivy McBeth catching, and only had a few 4-inning JV games after Varsity. The JV Softball coach, Amelia Manenti, informed the team during the end of the season that she would not be returning for the following year and said her goodbyes following with the girls thanking her for dedicating her time to them and softball. The girls will always remember her. The girls had an amazing season and cannot wait for the next year’s season to start up again to play ball!
