The JMES Fall Festival was open to the public to come and support the JMES PTA. The PTA provided many free children’s activities. During the event there was a costume contest, a haunted house, face painting, a Chinese auction, 50/50 drawing, and food.

The costume contest began at 2:00. For the contest, there were two age groups. The age groups were 6-9, and 10-12. In each age group, there was one winner.

The Chinese auction began at 3:00. All proceeds from the auction and 50/50 went to JMES PTA.

Kim Fisk, Principal of Jackson-Milton Elementary says, “October has been filled with many wonderful things here at JMES.  Each year our PTA puts on an amazing community celebration and this year was no exception.  On Saturday, October 14th our building was filled with families enjoying a beautiful day.  From the games and face painting to the food and baskets there was something for every age to enjoy.  I wanted to start this month’s newsletter by thanking our PTA for working so tirelessly to organize this yearly gathering for all of us.”

The fall festival is a beautiful celebration for families to attend and enjoy. It is a day that children get to come and dress up in their Halloween costumes and enjoy many activities. It is well put together and is fun for all ages to enjoy.
