The Jackson-Milton High School co-ed varsity soccer team have had a bit of a struggle in this years season. Coached by Craig and Trina Fektovich and Tim Lucik, with a record of 2 wins, 6 loses, and 1 tie.

They have battled back and forth against many teams. They faced Columbiana but fell to a defeat 0-8. The team claimed a victory against Matthews 4-3. The group continues to push through the end of their season with three games left.

Ninth grader, Austin Stanke, has given a few insights on the team and this years season. For example, when he was asked about his thoughts and feelings on this years season, he replied with, “I feel that we are putting in a lot of effort and are progressing over time. Being part of the team means I know that someone always has my back.”

With their upcoming game against Heartland Christian, the Blue Jays soccer season is unwinding and slowly coming to an end.
