The second annual Father/Daughter dance sponsored by Mrs. Reyes and the students of National Honor Society took place on November 18.

The Father/Daughter dance is the time of year when fathers, or another important male figure, would come with their daughter and dance the night away as if at a ball or formal dance.  The young girls looked beautiful in their dresses and were smiling as they entered the dance with their escorts for the evening.

Fathers, stepfathers, uncles, grandfathers, or other guardians were welcome to attend. The dance began at 6 p.m. and ended at 9 p.m. Mrs. Morelli was there with her camera to take pictures of each pair.

Girls from Kindergarten all the way up to 6th grade were permitted to come when the proper permission slip and fee was submitted. This dance is sponsored by the National Honor Society and all the money that was raised is going to be donated to the Relay for Life Team J-M NHS. Tickets cost $35.00 for the first child and for each additional child it costs $10.00.

They offered a buffet style spaghetti dinner and cupcake dessert table.

Father/Daughter dances are a special time for a young girl and father figure to spend time together. This event is a great opportunity to spend time together in a different atmosphere and a great time is had by all.

This is a great event for young girls to go to if they want to get out of the house and have a good time with their loved one.
