Journey Morris earns 1st prize at NoneUnder21 event

On April 19th the Jackson-Milton juniors went to Hiram College for the None 4 Under 21 event. More than 1,500 students participated in this event which showed a crash courses of the dangers of drinking and driving.

Inside the event had a sideshow of pictures of families, accidents and short videos of different people in accidents caused by drinking and texting and driving. Students also listened to felons and their stories of how their lives changed, also a father who lost his son in a car accident and the different choices that were made for these events.

There is a contest, sponsored by Elk and Elk Company, in which students can create a banner that has a powerful meaning related to this event, this year Journey Morris earned first place and won a cash prize at the event.
