Track is one of the few spring sports at Jackson-Milton. Track includes many events such as 100 meter dash, discus, the Mile, 4×1, 4×4, etc. Track has had cancellations throughout this year due to the unpredictable, rainy, cold weather, this has caused many complications for JM and the other competing schools; because the season only lasts so long, and it’s hard to cram all the meets in, and they may not be able to reschedule.

Track has been very successful in the meets that they have run. With the all new MVAC league, JM plays some other talented schools. JM has impressing stats against the other schools.

JM also won by landslide against Waterloo, Western Reserve, and Mooney. They totaled  103 points for Boys, and 75 for girls. This meet stunned many people, because people forgot how talented JM is when everyone works their hardest in their event or heat.

Emily Williams, one of the lead scorers on the track team states, “Because 4 track meets have been cancelled, we have been working hard at every practice to become champions.”

The Seniors are making the most out of their last season, and showing everyone what Track is all about.
