The first MVAC Cross Country Championship was held on Tuesday, October 3rd.  The Jackson-Milton cross country teams competed against McDonald, Western Reserve, Springfield, Mineral Ridge, Sebring, Lowellville, and Waterloo at Woodland Park in McDonald.  

From the girls high school team: Michaelina Terranova made first team MVAC and Jenna Jones made honorable mention MVAC.  From the boys high school team: Devan Christoff and Anthony Pizzuto both made first team MVAC, Jeremy Seka made second team MVAC, and Mikey Zayas and Anthony Terranova both made honorable mention MVAC.  

From the middle school girls team: Katie Campbell, Kalli Ivari, and Grace Campbell all made second team MVAC.  From the middle school boys team: Cole Graham and Kadin Rader both made second team MVAC.  

The high school boys finished second overall as a team  at the first MVAC league race, only finishing behind the McDonald boys team.  

Jackson-Milton held a home meet on October 7 and both high school teams won first beating teams from Lordstown, Lowellville, Matthews, Struthers, Western Reserve, and Sebring.  The Jackson-Milton boys high school team finished the race with a perfect score of 15 points.  Michaelina Terranova won first, Jenna Jones placed sixth, Chloe Clear placed seventh, Addie DeVite finished eighth, and Julie Biro placed ninth as individuals from the high school girls team. Devan Christoff won first, Anthony Pizzuto placed second, Jeremy Seka placed third, Anthony Terranova placed fourth, and Mikey Zayas finished sixth from the high school boys team.

Katie Campbell placed third, Grace Campbell finished fifth, and Hannah Koontz placed ninth individually from the junior high girls team. The junior high girls team finished second overall. Cole Graham placed first and Kadin Rader finished third from the junior high boys team individually.

All cross country teams are having a very successful season.
