Blue Jay Football continues to battle in new conference

Nick Scarl, Staff Writer

The Jackson-Milton Blue Jays have been struggling with their past few games, which happen to also be league games, but now the Jays have a chance to get some energy running through the team.  The team supported the military as well as Breast Cancer Awareness in their Pink Game recently.

Last week the Blue Jays lost a tough battle with the Waterloo Vikings, which had to be finished Saturday morning due to light issues. If the Jays had beat Waterloo they would be sitting in the 9 seed, which the top 8 go to the playoffs.

The game between the Blue Jays and the Vikings happened to be the homecoming for our Jays.

Coming up this week the Jays will play the Lowellville Rockets, who they have normally had no trouble with in the past.

The Blue Jays have three more games left in this season that will be played against the Lowellville Rockets, the Mineral Ridge Rams, and the Western Reserve Blue Devils. The Jays have only one more game at their home stadium which will be their senior night also. It will be week 10 against the Blue Devils.
