Ohio typically receives a large quantity of snow throughout the months of winter. Different people react and dress for the cold in many different ways. Some people feel the frigid temperatures more than others causing them to “bundle up” more by wearing gloves, a hat, a scarf, and a winter coat. During the winter months women like to wear “fuzzy socks” with their shoes. Girls also tend to wear UGG boots with their daily outfits along with the fuzzy North Face jackets to keep them warm.

Samantha Metts stated that her favorite winter clothing item was a “cute sweater for not only style but for comfort as well.”

Lately, girls have been starting the trend of wearing beanie style hats with the medium to large pom pom ball on the end for not only warmth and comfort, but style as well.

Cheyenne Morrow stated that her preference of clothing for the winter is, “fuzzy socks with my Bailey Bow UGG boots.”

Guys do not seem to take as extreme actions when dressing for the cold, but most guys wear some type of letterman’s jacket or a sports affiliated hooded sweatshirt. Adam Smith said that he enjoys wearing wool socks during winter.

According to Elle Magazine, wearing a vibrant and colorful coat is an easy way to pull off an everyday chic look during the winter.
