Adele was born in London, England and is a member of the British Empire. She came to stardom from a “Myspace” account and received a recording contract a year later… the rest is history.  Adele hasn’t dropped a new album since 2011, but that all changed in November 2015.

Her album called, “25,” has possibly her biggest hit yet on it; “Hello” which has over 700 million views on YouTube it since November.  This song is about missing a former love who she didn’t end on good terms with. Her album is so successful it’s hard to keep up with the records she is breaking. According to “www.Eonline.com,” “The total number of copies sold to date in the U.S. is 3.38 million.” That’s more albums than some countries have people.

Furthermore, “25” became the best-selling album of 2015 in the U.S. in just one week. The number of copies sold per minute last week? 335.

Lastly, the first single, “Hello,” became the first song to sell more than one million downloads in one week.  But, of course, Adele has become accustomed to breaking records and producing hits such as “Skyfall,” “Someone Like You,” and “Rolling in the Deep.”
