The JMHS cross country runners finished the second half of their season strong. Throughout the second half of their season, the runners raced at some of the most important races of the year. These races included their first home race ever in Jackson-Milton history, districts, and if they qualified they moved onto Regionals.

The high school cross country team hosted their first home race in Jackson-Milton history on Thursday, October 1st. The course stretched from the high school to the elementary school, and even in the woods. Overall, both the boys and girls teams did well. Michaelina Terranova placed first for the girls, and the boys team placed first overall. Many members of the cross country team set personal records at the home meet. The race was a success and was a very important event that changed history at Jackson-Milton. The school hopes to continue to have races held at the school annually.
