On February 4th 2025, the Jackson-Milton fighting Blue Jays faced off against the previously undefeated Campbell Memorial Red Devils in an annual teacher appreciation basketball game. The game was at home and served as an opportunity for graduating seniors to celebrate their favorite and most impactful teachers. The Bluejays had five seniors this season: Vincent Fay, James Croyle, Ryen Romigh, Ethan Kerr and Jase Greco.
Vincent Fay chose to honor Mrs. Vallinger. He said, “She is an amazing teacher and helped push me to achieve my goals.”

After the seniors gave a shout out to their favorite teachers the game took off. The Bluejays fought hard and beat the undefeated Red Devils 75-74 at the buzzer. It was an awesome night for the team and a memorable night for the teachers of Jackson-Milton.
Mr. Mohr said, “It was an honor to be recognized by one of my students and to see the team succeed this season.” Overall, the game was a great success and a very memorable experience for the whole boys basketball team, especially the seniors.
