On December 18, 2025 the Jackson Milton High School Band is excited to announce it’s upcoming Winter Concert. This annual event will feature performances from both the high school and middle school bands.
The band director Nicholas Penfound states his excitement about the upcoming concert, “The next band concert is December 18. The high school band will be playing either 5-6 songs. The sixth grade band has improved so much since last year; they are going to be playing the most songs.”
His statements underscore the amazing progress the middle school and high school band has made.
Freshman trumpet player Casey Lawrence shared her opinion of being in the band by saying, “It’s really cool to be in band because you’re learning about new rhythms. I truly express joy in playing music with my trumpet.”
Bringing both middle school and high school band joy, as concert day approaches, both high school and sixth-grade band members are hurriedly preparing. The concert will not only showcase their musical talent but also bring the multiple grades together as a second family. With an exciting program in store, the Jackson Milton High School Band looks forward to an evening filled with music, talent, celebration, and becoming a second family excitingly marking a highlight of the winter concert preformed this school year.
The marching band also made quite an impact at halftime this football season with their entertaining performances. The school band also displayed their talents at the Veterans Day assembly most recently. If you have the chance to see this talented group perform, don’t miss out!
