In February, of 2024, the Jackson-Milton High School did a blood drive event. The blood drive event was hosted by Ms. Lynn and The American Red Cross. For the past 20 years, there has been a blood shortage across America, so there is a huge need for blood right now.
Ms. Lynn stated, “The second blood drive had much less of a turn out than the first one. Red Cross had to turn away a lot of donors for whatever their reasons were which hurt our numbers. My red cross partner told me that the second blood drive is always lower than the first and last ones. The next one is May 7th and I am hoping for a much better turn out!’’
We hope to see more people there to give blood. There is a reward for giving blood and the reward is a $20 dollar amazon gift card if you give blood.
