Prom will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Ciminero’s Banquet Center in Niles, Ohio. With the help of Mrs. Reyes and Mrs. Vallinger, Prom is going to be a success.
There will be a small event before the prom for some fun. Promenade will be held right before prom, beginning at 5:00 pm in the Don Patton Gymnasium.
There is also going to be a certain theme. The theme will be Roaring 20’s with the saying of , “And Have the Time of Your Life,” having this year’s theme go back in time.
This years prom committee includes: Addie Beck, Caty Carnes, Hailey Chudomelka, Vinnie Fay, Jase Greco, Sophia Huzyak, Hugh Ivari, Grace Johns, Ethan Kerr, Michaela Salas, Drew Sloan, Lauren Smaldino, Lucas Sokol, Keegan White, Addy Wilkes, and Landon Workman.
Mrs. Reyes says, “ I am most excited about seeing how pretty the girls look in their dresses and the unique styles they each have.”
Mrs. Reyes also explained, “I have been Junior Class Advisor since 2009 and in 2022 Mrs. Vallinger joined me and we are now Co-Advisors.”
There are also going to be delicious food items at prom. Caty Carnes said, “ The food items that I know for sure are chicken, mashed potatoes, and Italian veggies! We are also planning on having cheesecake bites for dessert!” Moreover, there will be a bunch of delicious foods at the prom.
The students also have a very fun time at prom and stay well behaved. Mrs. Reyes said, “The students are always very well behaved and they have a great time at Promenade and the dance.”
To conclude, prom 2024 is going to be great!
