Everybody needs kindness, the world needs kindness. Every year, the advisors of SADD Mrs. Morelli and Mrs. Reyes help celebrate World Kindness Day with the staff and students at JMHS.
To help stop bullying and to bring a little more brightness to the school, in honor of World Kindness Day, the students and faculty have decided to wear bright and colorful clothes to bring a smile to others faces. With the help of our students, the student body showed their kindness by wearing their brightest colors and happiest faces.
And to answer the question, “What should World Kindness Day teach?”, Lacie Corbett-Graham puts it, “World kindness day should teach people a lesson and show people how to properly act and treat others.”
Miah Tomaino responded, “World Kindness Day should be celebrated because people need as much kindness in their lives as possible. Kindness should not only be celebrated on just one day but everyday of the year. Be as kind as possible to everyone around you and to yourself!”
Taylor Gates said, “It’s a day everyone should be kind to others and respect them for who they are as a person.” Which is a lovely sentiment to carry with any day.
