Several Jackson-Milton High School students participated in the paint the plow contest for ODOT. The plow painting contest was hosted by the  art teacher Brian Jackson. 

Jackson stated, “It was a lot of fun to work with the students to create the snow plow.’’ Mr. Jackson stated. The students painted the plow at the school.

The painters were Hugh Ivari, Emalee Kalish, Peyton Verquer, Addie Wilkes, and Michaela Salas.

Ivari stated, “I had a good time painting it. We all worked well together and got it done pretty quickly. I’ll do it again next year for sure.’’  

The plow was painted outside of the high school and middle school building.

“We had fun being able to be outside and working outside, but it was a challenge because the plow was so short we had a hard time fitting 3-4 people on it at a time to paint,’’ Mr. Jackson said.

The plow was posted on the ODOT Facebook November 27th 2023 and the votes went on until December the 8th 2023.
