What is the beginning of a brighter future? If someone asked any student at Jackson, they would say Key Club. Now to start with a question, “What is Key Club?” Key Club is a volunteer organization and an opportunity for students to give back to their community and get more involved in school. Key Club has also gotten involved with many other school events such as: PTA events, sporting events for both middle school and high school, Kiwanis events, the list goes on!
Ms. Fishtorn states, “The best time to join Key Club is at the beginning of the school year so students can maximize the opportunities for volunteering.” Ms. Fishtorn is owed a thank you for taking the time to run the school’s Key Club.
Many people have various reasons as to why they joined Key Club.
Lexie Figinsky said, “You get to help out a lot, and you get to go to events.”
Anyone who puts their mind to it can join Key Club no matter who they are or where they come from. With the help from the kind hearts of students who have decided to join Key Club, they have managed to give back to their community and look forward to the future of this school can be with the Key Club.
