It was a beautiful morning on the first day of school at Jackson-Milton High School. The class adviser, Mrs. Reyes, hosted a Senior Sunrise for the upcoming seniors. Many seniors attended and seemed to love it and think it was such a memorable moment for their last school year before they went off to their lives.
“It was nice to get all the seniors together to hangout.’’ Jillian Schmidt said.
Although some did not attend, it is still an honorable moment to capture that they will remember. While some students enjoyed it, others just thought it was early in the morning.
“It was pretty early and I didn’t make it on time,” Mason Hughes quoted.
Yes, it was an early morning at Jackson-Milton High School, but they did have fun with their first day of their senior year. The weather was nice, it was warm out, and all the seniors got to enjoy seeing each other on the first day of school after a fun long hot summer in Northeast Ohio. Students also got to see each other that go to MCCTC school that they normally don’t get to see often.
Sarah Yuhasz said, “I thought it was pretty nice. It was nice seeing people that go to MCCTC that we don’t see often.’’
This was definitely a meaningful and treasuring moment for all of them to capture. This is an ongoing tradition that the school does for everyone for their senior year. This represents excitement and joy for what is down the road ahead. After this school year all of the seniors will be missed and we all wish them well in what is in the future to come and to make positive and smart decisions in their lifetime.
