Homecoming 2021: Students danced the night away!

Cora Pettry

Jackson-Milton High School’s homecoming was held at the Shrine in North Jackson on October 9th 2021 from 7 to 10. The theme for this homecoming was space/galaxy and it was chosen by the student council. The people that were chaperoning this year’s homecoming were Mr. Vega, Officer Sosnosky, and more. The homecoming dance started off  with everyone just hanging out and catching up with each other.  After, Mr. Vega called for food by tables and when most everyone was finished eating, the DJ turned on some music to get the crowd going.

As soon as the music started playing, all of the seniors headed to the dance floor with freshmen, sophomores, and juniors following. Soon everyone was  hyped and there were people crowd surfing and getting on peoples shoulders and so much more. Soon the night slowly started to go down and the dance ended with a slow song and everyone made a circle and started to dance with each other. When the clock hit 10 and it was over, everyone made their way out and they all had a great night.
