SADD students arrived early Wednesday for their Prom Promise Week activity.  Mrs. Morelli, Mrs. Reyes, and this group of SADD students monitored drivers for seat belt safety, reminding those entering the parking lot to, “Click it, or ticket…Buckle up!”  Those high school students wearing their seat belts will be placed into a drawing at the end of the day.

SADD students created theme days for each day of the week:  America Monday, Twin Tuesday, Western Wednesday, That’s My Team Thursday, and We love JM Friday.

Monday students listened to an inspirational guest speaker. Beacon Light (a musical performer/inspirational speaker) came to entertain and inspire students.  He also put on a free concert that evening for students.

Tuesday students signed the pledge to end distracted driving and received thumb bands as a reminder to drive phone-free.

Thursday students will experience what it is like to perform tasks under the influence with the use of perception googles at lunch.

Friday senior students will attend the Mahoning County Jail.
