New Semester, New Classes

Shane Davis

A new semester means new opportunities for students at JM. At the end of January the first semester has come to an end and new classes and adjustments are made available to the students.  Students select new classes to take and make schedule changes every year to benefit themselves. They also chose the classes that are best to go with their interests.

Student Anthony Eppendorfer says, “I chose Fish Bowl (Fish Bowl Graphics) as one of my electives and it is awesome, I really like it.”

Teachers see new people in their classrooms too. Sometimes teacher will review for the new students or they might just jump into things. For instance, Mrs. Barnes who teaches the foods, fashion, and interior classes says, “In the foods classes we review all of the utensils and in Fashion and Interior design they just get right into it.”

Sometimes teachers don’t see a lot of new faces at all. Mrs. Barnes states, “I don’t really get too many new students, their schedules change around or their schedule doesn’t change at all.”

Most students and teachers are happy to see the new changes and opportunities at their school.
