Around 10 billion people get the flu each year. Each of us are 20% percent likely to get the flu each year. Around the winter season it is a bigger possibility each of us will get sick. There are vaccinations, such as the flu vaccination. There are also good hygiene habits such as, covering your mouth when you cough, or washing your hands very often can help stop the spread of germs which get us sick. Possibly avoiding physical contact with other sick people. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces that are frequently touched surfaces. Drinking tea can possibly prevent germs from spreading.

Once you get sick, there are also many ways to get better quickly. Many doctors recommend vitamins and sleep. Vitamins will boost your immune system to fight off infection. Sleep will also help your system fight illness and give your body a chance to recuperate. When you do get sick you should stay home instead of taking the chance of contaminating others. Drinking lots of water it can help push all of the sickness out of your system. Eating healthy also keep fueling your body to push through the system. Although all of these habits can help protect you from sickness it’s not a for sure prevention. Stay safe and healthy throughout this terrible season.
