Since 1961 Black Friday has become a huge day for people around the world. Every year after Thanksgiving day people go out and begin to shop for Christmas presents. Black Friday consists of many deals and sales throughout everyone’s favorite stores. Black Friday has became a favorite to many people. Although, there has been violence, injuries, and even deaths on Black Friday. The sales become too much and people fight over who gets the last item and it has often lead to violence. Black Friday is followed by Cyber Monday where they have many deals and sales throughout the stores online. This year Black Friday fell on November 24th.

This year’s Black Friday wasn’t as big as it has been in the past. Many people still don’t participate in Black Friday because of the violence, and the overcrowded buildings. The number of people participating in Black Friday has slowly started to wither away. Many people say it just isn’t as big anymore and others just wait for Cyber Monday. People seem to have favorited Cyber Monday because it is safer, quicker and more efficient for them.

Some of the biggest sales this year were at Best Buy, selling a fifty inch tv $320 cheaper than the original price. Another big one was at Walmart, giving a free $300 gift card to anyone who purchased an iPhone x or and Iphone 8.

There were many other sales this year whether it was products, game systems, phones, and much more. Black Friday will continue to be the beginning of holiday shopping and a big day for people all around.
