Cheerleaders have spirit…let’s hear it!
October 13, 2017
The Jackson-Milton Cheerleaders have had an amazing cheering season so far. The cheerleading team is coached by Megan White and Grazia Accordino. Both coaches extremely proud of their girls for all of their hard work and dedication to make their fall cheering season the best.
Recently, they had a Pink Out game on Friday, September 29. The entire school showed their support of breast cancer awareness including the cheerleaders. The high school cheerleaders welcomed the younger cheer squads to come cheer at the football game. Throughout the game, the cheerleaders had a bake sale, raffles, and prizes to win. At the end of the night, they were able to raise $1,130 that will all be donated on behalf of the cheerleaders at the Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic! The girls were very excited about this accomplishment and hope to continue to raise more and more each year.
The high school cheering squad is looking to receive another first place win at the Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic. This yearly competition is held every year to help support Breast Cancer by raising money to donate! This year it is held on Sunday October 22, 2017 and it is located at the Youngstown State University.
All of the girls are practicing hard and getting ready for the fierce competition season. Come out and watch the Jackson-Milton High School girls cheerleading squad compete for a great cause!
