Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and several countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer.

Our school’s National Honors Society team is holding a Birthday card competition, where any student from grades 7-12 student can design and submit their own original cover of a birthday card for the children with cancer.

The American Cancer Society, Austintown Relay for Life, and National Honor Society are conducting a Birthday Card Competition through February 3.  

The birthday cards are required to be designed neutrally, so that it could be submitted to any of the cancer patients.

NHS is offering the following:  1st  place $20 gift card; 2nd place $10 gift card; 3rd Place $5 gift card.  

The American Cancer Society is responsible for the judging for all of the entries they receive from any student and offer the following prizes to the winning contestants:

-$100 fast food gift card

-$50 Gamestop Gift Card

-$25 Regal Gift Card.
