The December Athletes of the Month were Kaitlyn Totani and Noah Laster. Both athletes play basketball and put up great numbers for the month of December.

Kaitlyn Totani has recently scored her 1,000th point in her high school career. When asked about what it meant to earn this honor, she said, “It feels great to be rewarded for hard work. 1,000 points was an amazing milestone and this award is special, too.”

When asked about being an athlete of the month, Noah Laster said, “It’s an honor because it means I am doing good on the court and in the classroom.”

Both athletes made the athlete honor roll for the first nine weeks of the school year, which is designated for students who earn a 3.5 GPA or higher. This month, both athletes are continuing to perform on the court and in the classroom. They have been huge reasons for the success of their teams this season.
