Star Wars: Rogue One Review

Over more than ¾ of the people that saw the new Star Wars: Rogue One Movie liked it!  The new Star Wars Rogue One movie is a side story showing how Rebels stole the plans for the Death Star. New characters have been added to the film and a whole new plot was made.

The Star Wars movie was rated a 8.3 on IMDB (Integrated Maintenance Data Base). On rotten tomatoes they gave it a high 85% and a 7.5/10. Rotten Tomatoes also said 90% of the audience liked it which is a 4.3/ 5.

Although most people liked the movie, some did not. Most people were upset that once again the movie was about the Death Star. Another thing fans have been upset about it is the fact there was so much going on, Fans liked the plot but there is too much going on and little confusing.  

The movies most likable characters is Churret Imwe, a man obsessed with force and is possibly force sensitive. Darth Vader and Princess Leia are in the movie but people feel due to Darth Vader’s costume design it did not feel the same as it did back then. Princess Leia was re-created using special effects and was too obvious.

 The movie did not make as much as the previous Star Wars movie, “The Force Awakens,” but it did make about 155 Million dollars opening weekend. Star Wars fans loved the ending, especially the older fans due to fact it showed popular and familiar characters.
