On Thursday October 20, 2016  there was a board meeting for Jackson-Milton Local Schools.

The treasurer recommends that the Board approve the revised CCIP budget.

Treasurer recommends that the Board approve the creation of fund 200 9020 class of 2020.

Treasurer recommends that the Board approve the Student Activity Reports for the 2016-2017 school year.

Treasurer recommends that the Board approve the increase of parking fees from $3.00 to $5.00 for the 2016-2017 school year.

Treasurer recommends that the Board approve the five-year forecast and notes for Fiscal Year 2017.

Treasurer recommends that the Board approve the following donations:

1.   $250 from JM PTA to elementary principal’s account.
2.   $500 from Pricetown Women’s Ministry to elementary principal’s account.

Recommends that the Board approve the request of professional days as indicated:

1. Ms.Christine Ginnis to attend the All Ohio Counselor Conference from November 3-4 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
2. Mrs. Barb Keeler to attend the OASBO Accounts Payable/General Accounting Seminar on November 1, 2016 in Independence, Ohio.
3. Mrs. Barb Carte to attend the eSERS Training on November 3, 2016 in Beachwood, Ohio.
4. Mrs. Mary Lu Rosier to attend the Literacies: Keeping it Virtually Real Conference on October 22, 2016 in Youngstown, Ohio.
5. Mr. John Zinger to attend the OSBA School Comp Seminar required training, workers compensation on December 2, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
6. Mr. John Zinger to attend the School Finance Workshop on December 9, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
7. Mrs. Char Baker to attend the 32nd Annual Health update Conference on December 2, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.

Recommend that the Board approve the following request for building/grounds use indicated:

1. National Honor Society to use the JMHS/MS cafetorium for the 2nd Annual Father/Daughter Dance on November 18, 2016 from 5:00pm – 10:00pm. No rental fee.
2. National Honor Society to use the JMHS/MS cafetorium NHS Induction Ceremony on March 8, 2017 5:00pm- 8:00pm. No rental fee to be charged.
3. National Honor Society to use the JMHS/MS cafetorium for the 2nd annual Mother/Son Dance on April 28, 2017 from 5:00pm – 10:00pm. NO rental fee to be charged.
4. Junior class to use the JMHS/MS cafetorium and gtm for the Junior and Senior Promenade and Prom on May 20, 2017 from 5:00pm – 10:00p. No rental fee to be charged.
