Thanksgiving is coming up and it is a time that people celebrate and give thanks to what they love in life. This year we wanted to get to know our Blue Jays a little better and see what they love in their lives. So we went around and asked them, what they are thankful for and why? Here is what they said…

Mike Spencer, “I am thankful for my family, friends, and girlfriend, because I love them all.”

Clayton Maskarinec, “I am thankful for my genes because I’m 6’3” and can dunk.”

Eric Ostrowski, “I am thankful for my family because not everyone is fortunate to have the great support they give me.”

Jeffrey Luther, “I am thankful for having Thanksgiving break to be out of school for a little bit.”

Mrs. Morelli. “I am thankful for my family, because they bring me joy and you can’t put a price on that kind of happiness.”

John Landis, “I am thankful for Mrs. Morelli because she is awesome.”

Sierra Pierce, “I am thankful for my best friend because without her I would be more of a mess than I already am.”

Travis Tikkanen, “I am thankful for my friends, family, talents, smarts, and hair, but mostly my hair.”

Sean Bartek, “I am thankful for my family because I would not be here if it weren’t for them.”

Sierra Huff, “I am thankful for my friends and family because they support me with everything I do.”

Mrs. Yantes, “I am thankful for my family because they are wonderful and supportive and I need them around all of the time.”

Najeh Mufleh, “I am thankful for my cat because when I am alone my cat sits with me and makes me feel better.”

Zach Socha, “I am thankful for my friends and family because they are dearest to my heart and I would not be here without them today.”

Olivia Johnson, “I’m thankful for my friends and family because they are there for me and I love them.”

Katie Rago, “I’m thankful for school because without it I would have no education.”

Braden Nagy, “I am thankful for my dogs for cuddling with me every night.”

Mrs. Condon, “I am thankful for a healthy family because they bring me joy.”

James Auden, “I am thankful for having a family because their love and support gets me through every day.”

Mr. Hogue, “I am thankful for lasagna, Mrs. Yantes’ candy drawer, and cows because I love steak and food.”

Miss Bauman, “I’m thankful for my job because I get to spend time with the wonderful students and do what I love.”

It is very nice to see what our Blue Jays are thankful for in our community. Without many of the things we are thankful for, we would not be here today. Remember to give thanks for the holidays and let people know you care!
