Jackson-Milton Middle School football is undefeated!
October 12, 2016
The Middle School football team had an amazing start and are continuing down the road to success. They are undefeated for the 2016 season. They are coached by Mr. Nathan Brode and his father, this is coach Nathan Brode’s 6th year of coaching and his 2nd year as a head coach. This is his father’s second year as a assistant coach for Jackson-Milton.
Mr. Brode answered several questions about his team’s success. When he was asked who are the playmakers he answered with, “Offensively our running backs are Sean Lengyel, Luke Campbell, and Frankie Prozy, – Defensively our guys who have made most of our tackles are Frankie Prozy, Sean Lengyel, Andrew Hyder, Nick McGinnis and Luke Campbell.”
“Being undefeated is a great feeling. Knowing that all the hard work these young men had put in is finally paying off,” said Nate Broad.
When asked if the 8th graders will be ready to play varsity next season, Brode stated, “If our 8th graders train hard in the off season and remain coachable, I believe that most of them will be ready to play varsity football.”
Coach Brode plans to be the Middle School coach again next season. He says every year “you must be prepared to play the game, you must plan on having a successful season, it doesn’t just happen.”
Congratulations to the middle school team on their hard work and their success!
