JM offers new curriculum courses to students

Jeffrey Luther, Staff Writer

Jackson-Milton has introduced two new classes into their curriculum,  both taught by the famous Mrs. Yantes.

One of these new classes is “Helping Hands” which includes seniors going and helping special needs kids with reading and writing skills.  This helps to improve not only the education of the young student, but also helps the seniors with their teaching skills for becoming great educators.

The second class that is new to Jackson-Milton is CCP Writing, which is going through the community college Eastern Gateway, the new class is used to get students ready for what college has planned for them and to also give them a boost for when they go into college. We hope that Jackson-Milton continues to grow and add new curriculum classes and new CCP classes to make students more college ready and to get them in and out of college faster.
