This 2016-2017 cheerleading season they have 12 girls on JV and Varsity. The JV squad this year includes: Chloe Maffei, Kaylee Rader, Gracie Assion, Autumn Carines, Gianna Arquilla, and Abbie Orr. The Varsity squad this year includes Gabby Arquilla, Jordon Stratton, Alyson Sardich, Kassie Sarver, Chloe Clear, and Hannah Burnside. Their coaches are Megan White and assistant Grace Accordino.

The tryout clinics started May 10th and the tryouts were May 13th. Their official season started right after that. They spent all of their summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-11 or 9-12 learning cheers and routines. They attended the Cheer Time Athletics Summer Camp June 13th-June 15th. They were there with three other high school teams, and they learned eight cheers and two dances.

They participated in the Memorial Day Parade and the Fourth of July parade cheering and passing out candy. They have done a car wash at the North Jackson Dairy Queen, sold Handles Pint Cards, had a Kona Ice Truck at the Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale, and had a Golf Outing at Old Dutch Mill in Lake Milton. They also sell T-shirts for the homecoming game and the Pink Out game for breast cancer.

This season, the girls participated in the Kennywood Cheerleader Day, and out of their class they earned third place. The cheerleaders  participated in the Canfield Fair cheerleading day. Seeing some of the same teams from the CTA Camp and Kennywood, they were able to see how much everyone has improved.

Their next scheduled competition is the Zeta Tau Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic at YSU and they plan to do more competitions throughout this year.

Then came the first football game, Jackson-Milton played Southington and won 35-0. During football season the girls make all the treat bags for the juniors and seniors, they make the seniors signs on the fences, the run-through signs for the away games, and the senior scrapbooks, and they all enjoy these activities.
