The members that attended were Mr. Huff, Mrs. Pittman, Mrs. Catania, Mr. Mascioli, and Mr. Jones. A Third Grade student, Lauren Smaldino created a banner that shows students Blue Jay spirit. Mr. Crish talked about wanting to get the elementary school fitness trackers by SPIRIT. This helps the students get the amount of exercise they’re supposed to. The band tracks the steps and amount of physical activity in gym class. The parents will get an email explaining what the child needs to improve on. The JM foundation gave $6500 towards the school system.

There is a new athletic league that will be in place in 2017 the teams involved will include; Springfield, Waterloo, Southington/Chalker, Western Reserve, Lowellville, Mineral Ridge, Jackson-Milton, and McDonald.

The event “Soaring into Kindergarten” fair on April 13, 2016. The High School Play “Wild Pink” on May 20^th and 21^st at 7:00 pm. Spring Music Department Concerts- Middle School and High School Band and Choir on May 27^th at 7:00pm. The Elementary Spring Concert which includes, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th grades on May 26^th at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. The JM Sports Club Night of the Races on April 30^th at Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine.

In addition, they discussed The Mother and Son dinner and dance, school lock down, new commercial, educator of the year, cafeteria inspection, None 4 under 21- Junior class visit to Hiram, senior class visit to the county jail, Vindicator Spelling Bee.

Michaelina Terranova broke the JM High School Record in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 16.1 seconds after breaking her own record she had set earlier in the season. On the same day, April 19, 2016 she broke the 100m dash record with a time of 12.28 seconds. Adriana Italiano received the J.L Francis Scholarship.

The Graduation ceremony will be held on Friday June 10, 2016 at 7:00 pm. The 4^th annual Blue jay Colorful 5k run which will be held on Sunday May 28^th at 9:30 am.

The Elementary Student Council Senior Citizens Luncheon on May 13^th at 11:30am.
