The Jackson-Milton board of education met for the 3^rd meeting of the year on March 17. Board members include President Mitch Mascioli, Vice-President Michele Catania, Kim Pittman, Tom Huff and Todd Jones.

The Agenda included:

The review and approval of February’s regular minutes meeting.

Also, the board recognized student athletes of each winter sport team.

Basketball included Michael Assion  (Inter- Tri County League Honorable Mention) and Clayton Maskarinec  (Inter- Tri County League Honorable Mention).

The Girls Basketball team that qualified for Districts included the additional honors:

Ashley Totani (Inter-Tri County League champion)

Michaelina Terranova (Inter- Tri County League 1^st team, NEO Inland 2^nd team, and Honorable Mention all Ohio)

Kaitlyn Totani (Inter-Tri County League 2^nd team, 1^st team NEO Inland, 1^st team special mention all Ohio) and

Olivia Wolfe (Inter-Tri County League Honorable Mention).

Wrestling :

Terry Stockton  (Division III EOWL Wrestler of the Year, State Qualifier, 4^th at Districts, and 3^rd at Sectionals).

Anthony Italiano (District Qualifier, 4^th at Sectionals, and 1^st team EOWL).

Nick Scarl (District qualifier, 3^rd at Sectionals, and 2^nd team EOWL).

Anthony Pizzuto (District qualifier, 3^rd at Sectionals, and 2^nd team EOWL).

Jeremy Seka (District Qualifier, 5^th at Sectionals, and 2^nd team EOWL).

Nick Vergallito (District Qualifier, 5^th at Sectionals and Honorable Mention EOWL).

The Board meets once a month to  go over things affecting the school district, they also discussed renewing the coaching staff for 2016-2017 school year.
