The Jackson-Milton Lady Jays Softball team has a great turnout this year! There are 16 Lady Jays expected to participate on the field this season. After losing several seniors last season, the Lady Jays expected to return a majority of the young team from last season.

Expected to take charge of the Seniorless Lady Jays are Juniors Maggie Garland, Jenna Seka, Sierra Pierce, Amy Ritchie, and Katie Rago. Also expected to bat for the Lady Jays are Jordan Stratton, Gabby Arquilla, Brooklyn Gallant, Alyson Sardich, Maddie Hyland, Korie Gross, Talor Sahli, Mackenzie Bradfield, Sydney Miller-Snyder, Hailey Clear, and Elena Jones.

Unfortunately, due to the OHSAA’s transfer rule, Junior Sierra Pierce is expected to sit half of the season. The Lady Jays will be taking the field against Struthers in their first scrimmage of the season and their first game is on March 28th at home against the Lordstown Red Devils.
