On February 18, 2016, Jackson-Milton held their monthly Board of Education meeting. Present to the meeting was Mr. Mascioli, Mr. Jones, Mr. Huff, Mrs. Pittman, and Mrs. Catania. Several issues and ideas were addressed at the meeting.

The Treasurer’s recommendation of the $600 payment to Mrs. Carly Bishop was approved. The Treasurer’s recommendation of the approval of the boys wrestling team and coaches to attend the District and State tournament if they were to have qualifiers was approved. The 5th grade Camp Fitch field trip was also approved by the Board of Education.

The recommendation that the board approves Miss Kayla Malmfeldt and Mr. Jeff Craig as substitute teachers was also approved.

The recommendation that the Board approves February 16, 2016 as a calamity day for the District due to hazardous weather conditions was approved.

Lastly, the recommendation that the attendance of the Mahoning Valley Miniature Bridge Building Competition on February 23, 2016 by Mr. Mohr was also approved.
